The Wolfsmonitoring for the state of Lower Saxony leads the Landesjägerschaft Niedersachsen e.V.
(LJN) on behalf of the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Environment and in close cooperation with the NLWKN as competent authority and the more than 100 volunteer wolf advisors.The basis for the cooperation is a cooperation agreement for dealing with the Wolf in Lower Saxony.
In close coordination with the Ministry of the Environment, the State Hunters Association, in addition to the nationwide coordination of the scientific recording of wolf hints, the so-called wolf monitoring, also supports the country through extensive scientific accompanying research as well as the training of the volunteer wolf advisors and the information of the public.This app and the associated database were financially supported by the Lower Saxony Bingo Environmental Foundation.
